We are on eve of Kentucky football. The players and coaches will meet the media on Friday to talk about this season and participate in Fan Day on Saturday before getting it started on the field next week.
We will take a look at the season and begin taking predictions on the Cats 2013 campaign on tonight’s show.
The Cincinnati Reds are on fire. The Reds are winners of 19 of their last 22 games and have vaulted to the best record in the Major Leagues. We’ll talk with Reds broadcaster Doug Flynn about Cincy’s big run and their chances at a World Series title.
Plus, the Cats Pause’s Chris Fisher will sub for Jeff Drummond and update us on the recruiting scene.
You can join us beginning at 6pm with your calls and comments. By all means, tell us what you want to talk about. If you can’t call into the show, shoot us an email at larrygloverlive@gmail.com or tweet us @larrygloverlive. If you do want to call, give us a ring at 317-4554 or 855-885-CATS and we’ll debate any topic.
Update:
Former Kentucky Assistant Coach Rod Strickland was arrested this morning for several charges including a DUI suspended license. WLEX has the story.
If your looking for the best example of what separates Alabama football and Kentucky football, then perhaps this story best illustrates the divide. UK can’t get a recruiting room but Alabama has a “Juice” room. I kid you not.
The College Football Coaches Poll is out and five SEC teams are in the top 10 and 7 in the top 25. U of L just missed out finishing second of among the honorable mentions.
