It’s a Football Friday on Larry Glover Live.  Joker Phillips will help kick off the season at UK’s annual Kickoff luncheon.  We’ll have an update on what he had to say.

 

Plus, the Lexington Herald Leader released an article last night that was quite revealing regarding UK football ticket sales.  According to the HL, season ticket sales are down 27%.  That’s 12,919 fewer season tickets sold as of last Sunday.  At the average price of 33.86 for 7 games, that’s a little over a 3 million dollar loss for Kentucky.

 

I have to disagree with Mitch Barnhart, that is horrible and it also only intensifies the hot seat for Joker Phillips.  Imagine what a 3 win season will do for ticket sales?
