The conference title has been claimed and now the Kentucky Wildcats set their sights on SEC Perfection.  Two games remain on the schedule.  Senior night at Rupp Arena on Thursday night against Georgia and next Sunday in the season finale against Florida in Gainesville.

Coming up on tonight’s show, we’ll talk with CBS Sports’ Gregg Doyel about the Cats title chances and what makes Anthony Davis’ the clear-cut best player in the nation.

The Cats Pause’s Jeff Drummond will analyze UK’s win over Vanderbilt, what Michael Kidd-Gilchrist post game comments might mean for him and Kentucky, plus a basketball recruiting update.

The Cats host Vanderbilt on Saturday so that means we are taking predictions tonight on Larry Glover Live.  UK is a 12 point favorite.  The contest winner will get a prize pack from Kennedy’s Wildcat Den.

Plus, Jeff Drummond has a football recruiting update in hour two.  Brad Munson has got Daytona 500 covered and will join us for a convo on the Great American Race.

The Kentucky Wildcats rallied from 13 down to defeat Mississippi State 73-64 last night in Starkville.  What does it all mean?  We’ll discuss the slow start, the rally and the hammer at the end.

Plus, Who is Thayer Evans?  Apparently nobody knows because he is desperately trying to get some attention with his ridiculous article on the Cats crumbling before our eyes.  We’ll direct and offer the appropriate level criticism towards Evans on tonight’s show.

The Lexington Herald Leader announced last night, in a mild upset, that NBA start and former Morehead State standout Kenneth Faried was their Sportsman of the Year.  Faried edged out nine other finalists, including UK coach John Calipari.  Coming up on tonight’s show, we’ll talk with Mark Story and the selection.

The CJ’s Kyle Tucker will join us to talk about the loss of Tee Martin to Southern Cal.

No official game tonight for the Kentucky Wildcats but they do have a much publicized scrimmage scheduled for this afternoon.  John Calipari, who is always ahead of the curve, is holding a scrimmage for Cat fans and he’s letting the nation in on it.

ESPN will be there with their camera’s to let the college basketball world get a glimpse of  the inside of Kentucky basketball.  It’s another example of what Cal calls the Kentucky effect.
