Kentucky handled Lamar last night to the tune of a 22 point win.  The Cats can now finally focus on Louisville but it won’t be the unbeaten Cardinals.  U of L fell to Georgetown last night by 3 at the Yum Center.

Jeff Drummond will join us in hour two to reflect on UK’s win and a look ahead to Saturday.  Plus a recruiting update too.

Last night a friend asked me a question to ponder.  Here’s the premise: Kentucky wins the 2012 national championship and then one of two scenarios takes place.  1) the entire team returns except John Calipari or 2) Cal returns but the Cats lose most of the roster to the NBA.  Which would you chose?  vote in our poll below

The SEC released next season’s conference football schedule and there are a few changes for the Cats.  UK will travel to Missouri and will host Mississippi State for a second straight year.  Also, LSU will not come to Lexington as originally scheduled.

The Cats are on their back from the holidays.  We will begin to break down the UK-Louisville game tonight.   CBS Sports’s Gregg Doyel will be here to about the Cats and Cards.  Plus, we’ll hit some national stories that Gregg’s been following.
