Kentucky handled Lamar last night to the tune of a 22 point win. The Cats can now finally focus on Louisville but it won’t be the unbeaten Cardinals. U of L fell to Georgetown last night by 3 at the Yum Center.

Last night a friend asked me a question to ponder. Here’s the premise: Kentucky wins the 2012 national championship and then one of two scenarios takes place. 1) the entire team returns except John Calipari or 2) Cal returns but the Cats lose most of the roster to the NBA. Tonight’s my last show of the year and we are taking your 2012 UK predictions. We’re not looking for the obvious but instead gutsy predictions. We want to hear them starting at 6pm tonight on LGL on SportsCentral 590, WVLK.
The SEC released next season’s conference football schedule and there are a few changes for the Cats. UK will travel to Missouri and will host Mississippi State for a second straight year. Also, LSU will not come to Lexington as originally scheduled.
Coming up on the show tonight, we’ll talk about the new updated schedule and what it means for the Kentucky Wildcats. The Courier Journal’s Kyle Tucker will join us to discuss. We will also talk with Kyle and about the Cats and Cards.
The Cats Pause’s Jeff Drummond moves to 6:35 tonight to give us his thoughts on the football schedule and, of course, a recruiting update.

The Cats are on their back from the holidays. We will begin to break down the UK-Louisville game tonight. CBS Sports’s Gregg Doyel will be here to about the Cats and Cards. Plus, we’ll hit some national stories that Gregg’s been following.

The Kentucky Wildcats hit the court at 1pm to take on Loyola (Md). The Cats opened a 23 point favorite according to the boys in Vegas. The line has moved to 24.5. We’ll have a post game show to follow at approximately 3pm.
Then we will hit the air at 6pm with LGL. WHAS’s Kent Spencer will be our guest in hour 1 to talk about the Cats performance.
