The Kentucky Wildcats might have lost to Mississippi State on Saturday night but they may have found a reason for some hope. Maxwell Smith turned in the best performance of the year at QB and has inserted himself into the mix to start.

We’ll debate the Quarterback controversy tonight with WHAS’s Kent Spencer. We will also get Kent’s take on the John Calipari’s Wildcats as they prepare for their match up with Transylvania on Wednesday night.

Terrence Jones was more than a handful in last night’s Blue/White game.  The sophomore racked up 52 points the scrimmage.   Doron Lamb added 31 in the first public performance for the highly touted Cats.

We’ll talk about it tonight with Jeff Drummond from the Cats Pause.  We’ll also get a recruiting update from JDrum as well.

John Calipari met with the media today to talk about his team.  The Kentucky head coach heaped praise on his teams’ effort, the improvement of Terrance Jones, and the titanic battles between Michael Kidd-Gilchrist and Darius Miller.

We’ve got a busy show tonight with a lot to discuss.  University of Kentucky athletics took a step towards dissolving the Athletic Association.  We’ll discuss what it means tonight.

Plus, how valuable is the Kentucky football program?  Would you believe it’s in the top 20?  Would you believe that it’s five times more valuable than Louisville?  The Indianapolis Business Journal say’s yes to both questions.

The top 25 basketball poll is out and the Cats are number two with UNC a near unanimous number one.
