UK Advances To Sweet Sixteen

The Kentucky Wildcats dominated Wake Forest in route to a 90-60 win on Saturday night.  On a day filled with upsets, including Kansas, the Cats looked nearly unbeatable.  Darius Miller picked a great time to turn in his career best scoring 20 points. 

John Wall had 14 points and seven assists and Demarcus Cousins controlled the paint scoring 19 points and grabbed 8 rebounds.  The Cats advance to Syracuse where they’ll await the winner of tomorrows match up between Wisconsin and Cornell.

The Kentucky Wildcats are getting set to head to New Orleans to play in the East Regional. The Cats get East Tennessee State in the opening round and potentially former one Texas in round two. We’ll talk about tonight.

The pairings are out and Kentucky begins their quest for their 8th national title on Thursday night against East Tennessee State. The Cats are the number one seed in the East Region along with West Virginia, New Mexico, Wisconsin, Temple, and Texas.

We’ll debate the path that the Cats have to the final four coming up tonight at 6pm on Larry Glover Live.

Saturday Post Game Show

March 13th, 2010

The Kentucky Wildcats roll past Tennessee on Saturday afternoon to the tune of a 74-45 score. The Big Blue finished the game on a 29-6 run.

The Cats now advance to the SEC Championship game against either Vanderbilt or Mississippi State at 1pm est on Sunday.

Demarcus Cousins was a monster with 19 points and 15 rebounds. John Wall was his usual masterful self with 14 points, 9 assists, and 6 rebounds.

The SEC Tournament kicks off this afternoon in Nashville. Kentucky won’t know who they’ll play until the completion of game one between South Carolina and Alabama. The Cats will hit the floor on Friday at 1:00pm est.

We’ll talk about the SEC tournament. Plus we’ll get a recruiting update from Kentucky Ink’s Chris Fisher.
