I know today will be all about football signings, but I have a quick note if you get to basketball on tonights show. The SEC must be tired of a UK players winning Freshman of the Week every week. They give it to Arkansas’ Marshawn Powell who averaged 14pts, 7.5 rebounds, and 2.5 ast. Demarcus Cousins’ averages for the week were 24 pts, 11 rebounds, and 2 blocks. It should have been a no-brainer.
I think you hit the nail on the head. It’s about spreading the award around. Cousins had the best week.
